Measurements: 16 gauge (1.2mm), approx. 10 mm interior diameter, hinged clicker hoop

Materials: ASTM F136 implant grade titanium (gold color is 18K PVD plated titanium)

Care: This is tarnish-proof and waterproof. With all items of this material, if you come into contact with chlorine or salt water, cream, lotion, perfumes, etc., rinse in water and dry if this does happen. When not wearing, store in a dry, cool place.

Please be aware that with clicker style hoop such as this, sometimes the post that goes through the ear can get bumped slightly, reducing the secure click to close it. Please verify how this earring will fit prior to wearing it and make sure to adjust the ear post slightly by pushing up or down on it, as needed until you hear a click (meaning that your earring will stay shut!)

    Might be for a Daith but perfect for my helix

    I absolutely loved this moon. I thought it would be a little too big for my liking on my helix, but I love it.

    Beautiful but big

    The earring is beautiful and I LOVE moons. It was a lot bigger than I expected. I had it in my reverse helix for a few days but since it gets thicker toward the moon it caused my ear to get very sore so I had to take it out. It was also VERY hard to put in because of how the moon faces you have to insert it backwards then clip it closed.

    We're sorry to hear that the size caught you off guard though. It's always frustrating when a piece doesn't fit quite how you envisioned it, especially when you're trying it in a healing piercing like your reverse helix. We also hear you on the insertion difficulty. Clickers can definitely have a bit of a learning curve, and when you add in the specific orientation needed for the moon design, it can make the whole process trickier than expected. Having to insert it backwards and then get it positioned just right while trying to close the mechanism can be pretty fiddly.

    Cute and a good size! Unfortunately, it opens in a way that makes you insert it from the bottom of the piercing to have it the right direction (the moon face not being upside down), and it was really tough to do with my rook 😅 best for fully healed piercings!!
