Inspired by morning dew glistening in the sun, this stud features a pear-cut zirconia set in a sculptural starburst design—it's perfect for adding a little edge to your ear stack or for wearing solo!

This listing is for a single ASTM F136 implant grade titanium push-pin flat back stud.

Measurements:

18 GA (1mm)
Post is 1/4 inch (6mm) in length, with a 3mm disc on back
Approx. size of shape is 5.8x5.2mm. Refer to listing images to get an idea of the size of the stud on-ear. Check your own ear measurement before ordering

Materials: 18K PVD Gold Plated Titanium, Titanium

Care: Water and tarnish proof with proper care. If exposed to salt water, chlorine, or lotions/perfumes, rinse off with cool-warm water and gently dry. When not wearing, store in a dry, cool place. Do not pull, twist, or tug on your jewelry.

CARE

Soak your studs in warm water with a few drops of dish soap for about 15 minutes. Gently clean with a soft cloth and store safely.

This design in particular is seriously flawed
Let’s get this out of the way: I’ve been using flat backs of this style for well over a decade so I’m very comfortable getting them in and out as well as adjusting the fit. I had to give up on this particular pair because after an hour of trying to successfully get them into my regular 25-year-old lobe piercings, it was seriously a bloodbath. Design flaw #1 is that the post is off-center on the actual earring so whenever the earring is pushed into the back, it just further bends the post instead of going in. This seems like basic physics that the design is working against. Design flaw #2 is that the star design is WAY too sharp. Attempts to get them pushed in all the way actually cut my fingertips to the point of bleeding. I have others from another brand in a very similar design and have never had this issue. I wouldn’t advise purchasing these and would ask the design team to seriously consider going back to the drawing board.
