How cute is this flat back stud?! It features a moon with a star suspended below on a little chain.
This listing is for a single ASTM F136 implant grade titanium push-pin flat back stud.
Measurements:
- 18 GA (1mm)
- Post is 1/4 inch (6mm) in length, with a 4mm disc on back.
- Approx. size of moon + chain + star is 18mm x 4.2mm. Refer to listing images to get an idea of the size of the stud on-ear. Check your own ear measurement before ordering
Materials: 18K PVD Gold Plated Titanium, Titanium, zirconia
Care: Water and tarnish proof with proper care. If exposed to salt water, chlorine, or lotions/perfumes, rinse off with cool-warm water and gently dry. When not wearing, store in a dry, cool place. Do not pull, twist, or tug on your jewelry.
CARE
Soak your studs in warm water with a few drops of dish soap for about 15 minutes. Gently clean with a soft cloth and store safely.

What size are the flat back earrings?
Cords Club's Flat Backs are 18 gauge and come with a 6mm long Flat Back post.
A 6mm post is a great length for most people, so we'd recommend starting there! We do also have a range of other sizes available and sold separately. If you have questions about sizing, we'd love to help!
Are your flat backs sold individually? Or in pairs?

Do I need to buy the flat back applicator, too?
Our Flat Back Applicator is a great tool but it's not necessary! The Flat Back Applicator is designed to help make the process of changing your flat backs faster and easier, but you can definitely change your earrings without one. The choice is totally up to you!

I bought this earring has a pair to wear as lobe piercings. The earrings are decent, cute, and don’t cause any irritation. However, I find it annoying that as a pair the moons face the same direction making it so one ear has it facing towards my face and the other ear has it facing away from my face. Because the moons have the star chain attached you can’t simply twist the moon to face any direction. It’s a personal preference but I find that one stack looks great and the other looks off. Just something to consider when buying a pair vs a single and depending on what side you plan to wear it on.
Personally think the right ear looks best as a stack where the moon faces towards my face vs the left where the moon and star faces away from my face and throws the stack off.
