This tiny ball is perfect for so many different piercing locations, whether cartilage or lobe!
This listing is for a single push-pin flat back stud, 316L surgical steel. If you'd prefer the same flat back stud, but in implant grade titanium, we have it here
Measurements: Back post is 1/4" (6 mm) length, with a 3mm, slightly convex disc on back. 18 GA. The little ball on this earring is approx. 2 mm in diameter.
Colors: Silver color is ASTMF136 implant grade titanium, gold is the same titanium that is PVD Plated 18K Gold.

CARE
Soak your studs in warm water with a few drops of dish soap for about 15 minutes. Gently clean with a soft cloth and store safely.

I'm new to flat backs. What is the most important thing for me to know?

What size are the flat back earrings?
Cords Club's Flat Backs are 18 gauge and come with a 6mm long Flat Back post.
A 6mm post is a great length for most people, so we'd recommend starting there! We do also have a range of other sizes available and sold separately. If you have questions about sizing, we'd love to help!
Are your flat backs sold individually? Or in pairs?

Do I need to buy the flat back applicator, too?
Our Flat Back Applicator is a great tool but it's not necessary! The Flat Back Applicator is designed to help make the process of changing your flat backs faster and easier, but you can definitely change your earrings without one. The choice is totally up to you!

Great but I wish you could choose post length. The ball is just small enough to press into my ear and irritate the hole. Otherwise it’s fine. Need to purchase a longer post now though.

I have had these flat back studs in for probably longer than they should be and they have not tarnished or caused any issues in my ears! I love them! I have been in pools, the shower, got mud on them! They are truly amazing earings!

They’re adorable! In the piercings I had them in, I had keloids from rough healing and these feel great and haven’t cause any irritation. I upgraded to longer (8mm) posts. I recommend them for non-lobe piercings purely because it looks like my lobe swallows them up sometimes lol (even with the longer, looser post). You can see their size compared do the simple star and moon flatbacks!
