This stud’s bringing backyard sprinkler days, popsicle drips, and golden-hour glows. Wear it solo or in a stack—either way, it'll always be sunshine season.
A Cords Club exclusive, this enamel flat back stud is custom designed by us. We spent months perfecting the size, weight, and color of these cuties! The stud is Phthalate-free and tested safe for little ears and adults. 🫶🏻
Sold individually. Colors available: 18K PVD Gold Plated, Titanium (dark silver)
Measurements:
- 20 GA (0.8 mm)
- Post measures 1/4 inch (6mm) in length, with a 4mm disc on back.
- Sun shape is approx. 5.5mm. Check your own ear measurement before ordering.
Materials: This is a single push-pin, threadless flat back stud made from ASTM F136 implant grade titanium and enamel. Gold color is 18k gold PVD plated titanium.
Care: These are tarnish-proof and waterproof, with proper care. If you come into contact with chlorine or salt water, cream, lotion, perfumes, etc., rinse in water and gently dry with a lint-free cloth. When not wearing, store in a dry, cool place. Avoid leaving this stud in extreme heat, as it can affect the enamel.
CARE
Soak your studs in warm water with a few drops of dish soap for about 15 minutes. Gently clean with a soft cloth and store safely.

I'm new to flat backs. What is the most important thing for me to know?
The first thing you'll want to learn is how to keep your Flat Backs nice and secure. Just like you'd tie your running shoes to make sure they stay on your feet for a run, you'll need to adjust your Flat Backs to keep them in place, too!

What size are the flat back earrings?
Cords Club's Flat Backs are 18 gauge and come with a 6mm long Flat Back post.
A 6mm post is a great length for most people, so we'd recommend starting there! We do also have a range of other sizes available and sold separately. If you have questions about sizing, we'd love to help!
Are your flat backs sold individually? Or in pairs?

Do I need to buy the flat back applicator, too?
Our Flat Back Applicator is a great tool but it's not necessary! The Flat Back Applicator is designed to help make the process of changing your flat backs faster and easier, but you can definitely change your earrings without one. The choice is totally up to you!

I loved this little sun - we named our daughter Sunny, and now I am obsessed with all things sun. Less than a week in, though, I realized it had come out. I was SO disappointed. I’m afraid to vacuum, just in case I find it around the house (fingers crossed!).
