Materials: Available in 2 options--18k Gold PVD Plated Stainless Steel & Stainless Steel
Care: These are tarnish and water resistant. However, with all items of this material, do your best to avoid contact with chlorine or salt water, cream, lotion, perfumes, etc. Rinse carefully with water and dry asap if this does happen.
Please be aware that with clicker style hoops such as this, sometimes the post that goes through the ear can get bumped slightly, reducing the secure click to close them. Please verify how these earrings will fit prior to wearing them and make sure to adjust the ear post slightly by pushing up or down on it, as needed until you hear a click (meaning that your earrings will stay shut!)

These were going to be given as a gift. I don’t know if I got a bad batch, but these do not click close. When the earrings arrived in the mail, one of the hoops had fallen off the paper holder. So I tried to put it back on, but it fell off again. I tried to adjust the post to see if it was misaligned, but not matter what I did, these would not click close. I think they are missing the latch or something.
Another weird thing is that it is a more bronzed gold with like a semi- matte finish, which looks darker. Not necessarily a bad thing, but does look rather odd next to any brighter shiny gold.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback. I'm so sorry to hear about your disappointing experience with your Rectangle Hoops, and I completely understand your frustration that the click mechanism isn't working at all and that one had already fallen off the holder when they arrived. It's especially disheartening when these were intended as a gift and you can't even get them to stay closed properly - that's definitely not the quality standard we aim for.
Having hoops that won't click closed no matter how you adjust them is absolutely unacceptable, and it does sound like there may be a manufacturing issue with the latch mechanism. The click closure should work smoothly and securely right out of the package. I can completely see why this feels so disappointing when you're trying to give someone a gift that actually functions properly.
