Who wants to be nice if this is the coal that ends up in your stocking?! Gorgeous, sparkly, and versatile, this black zirconia flat back stud works in many different piercing locations.
This listing is for a single ASTM F136 implant grade titanium push-pin flat back stud.
Note that if you are a Studs of the Month box member, these are the studs that you received in the November box.
Measurements:
- 18 GA (1mm)
- Post is 1/4 inch (6mm) in length, with a 4mm disc on back.
- Approx. size of front piece is 6mm x 2mm. Refer to listing images to get an idea of the size of the stud on-ear. Check your own ear measurement before ordering
Materials: 18K PVD Gold Plated Titanium, Titanium, Zirconia
Care: Water and tarnish proof with proper care. If exposed to salt water, chlorine, or lotions/perfumes, rinse off with cool-warm water and gently dry. When not wearing, store in a dry, cool place. Do not pull, twist, or tug on your jewelry.
CARE
Soak your studs in warm water with a few drops of dish soap for about 15 minutes. Gently clean with a soft cloth and store safely.

I'm new to flat backs. What is the most important thing for me to know?

What size are the flat back earrings?
Cords Club's Flat Backs are 18 gauge and come with a 6mm long Flat Back post.
A 6mm post is a great length for most people, so we'd recommend starting there! We do also have a range of other sizes available and sold separately. If you have questions about sizing, we'd love to help!
Are your flat backs sold individually? Or in pairs?

Do I need to buy the flat back applicator, too?
Our Flat Back Applicator is a great tool but it's not necessary! The Flat Back Applicator is designed to help make the process of changing your flat backs faster and easier, but you can definitely change your earrings without one. The choice is totally up to you!

I love that these still add a bit of sparkle and I can still wear them even when my skin is super irritable since they're titanium :) Though I have to remember to check the tension on all my flatbacks regularly so I don't lose any again, but they're comfortable enough that I forget that I'm wearing them.
