New this Spooky Season, our Cobweb Flat Back Stud features a full, round spiderweb. It will work especially well in a lobe, flat, or even a tragus! (Check measurements below)
This listing is for a single ASTM F136 implant grade titanium push-pin flat back stud.
Sold individually.
Measurements:
- Post measures at 1/4 inch (6mm) length, with a 3mm disc on back.
- 18 GA (1mm).
- Cobweb is approx. 8mm diameter. Refer to listing images to get an idea of the size of the stud on-ear. Check your own ear measurement before ordering.

Care: These are tarnish-proof and waterproof. With all items of this material, if you come into contact with chlorine or salt water, cream, lotion, perfumes, etc. Rinse in water and dry if this does happen. When not wearing, store in a dry, cool place.
CARE
Soak your studs in warm water with a few drops of dish soap for about 15 minutes. Gently clean with a soft cloth and store safely.

I'm new to flat backs. What is the most important thing for me to know?
The first thing you'll want to learn is how to keep your Flat Backs nice and secure. Just like you'd tie your running shoes to make sure they stay on your feet for a run, you'll need to adjust your Flat Backs to keep them in place, too!

What size are the flat back earrings?
Cords Club's Flat Backs are 18 gauge and come with a 6mm long Flat Back post.
A 6mm post is a great length for most people, so we'd recommend starting there! We do also have a range of other sizes available and sold separately. If you have questions about sizing, we'd love to help!
Are your flat backs sold individually? Or in pairs?

Do I need to buy the flat back applicator, too?
Our Flat Back Applicator is a great tool but it's not necessary! The Flat Back Applicator is designed to help make the process of changing your flat backs faster and easier, but you can definitely change your earrings without one. The choice is totally up to you!

I'm so sorry to hear about your disappointing experience with your Cobweb Flat Back Stud, and I completely understand your frustration that the backing isn't staying secure and that the size is making it difficult to wear with your other earrings. Having an earring that won't stay put is incredibly frustrating, and I can absolutely see why this feels like a waste when it's not working the way it should.
