This opal & zirconia combo has us weak in the knees. We took some of our best sellers (opal flat back stud) and added some extra sparkle. When designing this, we wanted the zirconia to act like a punctuation mark. There. Noticeable. Cute. Microscopic.
This listing is for a single ASTM F136 implant grade titanium push-pin flat back stud.
Measurements: Post measures at 1/4 inch (6mm) length, 18 GA (1mm). Front design/pin is approx. 3.1x4.3mm wide. Refer to listing images to get an idea of the size of the stud on-ear. Check your own ear measurement before ordering.

What size are the flat back earrings?
Cords Club's Flat Backs are 18 gauge and come with a 6mm long Flat Back post.
A 6mm post is a great length for most people, so we'd recommend starting there! We do also have a range of other sizes available and sold separately. If you have questions about sizing, we'd love to help!
Are your flat backs sold individually? Or in pairs?

Do I need to buy the flat back applicator, too?
Our Flat Back Applicator is a great tool but it's not necessary! The Flat Back Applicator is designed to help make the process of changing your flat backs faster and easier, but you can definitely change your earrings without one. The choice is totally up to you!

This stud is stunning - the opal is a great size and the tiny sparkle is perfect. The only issue is that the prongs that hold the opal are consistently snagging my pillowcase every time I turn over from the side that the earring is on. So I wake up every time I turn over. As much as I love the earring, and I will be keeping it to wear from time to time, I’m on the search for another stud that I can wear 24/7 as a default. I just can’t sleep with this thing, no matter how cute it is.

Very cute! I added the Tortuga to a trio of opal studs in my lobes, its the perfect mid-size between the micro and 4mm opal studs. The little gem stone adds a bit of panache to the mix.
