These might not be flat backs, but they're the next best thing. Cover up those pokey posts with a silicone bubble. These work well on many traditional post types, for regular stud earrings and stud hoops.
Sold as a pair. Not for use on flat back studs.
Measure: approx. 6mm in diameter.
Material: silicone
Taking them off: using 2 hands, firmly grip the front and the back of the earring simultaneously with your thumb and pointer finger. Carefully pull away from each other the front and back at the same time, pulling them in opposite directions (apart from each other). It could be helpful to twist the bubble back a little as you pull the front and back apart.
Care: Over time, you will need to clean these bubble backs. Additionally, if you haven't worn the bubbles in a while, the silicone can discolor. Simply cleaning them with your other jewelry will help them stay useable, longer. Soak them for around 20 minutes in a solution of half water and half hydrogen peroxide. Then, use a soft bristle brush to scrub any gunk. Finally, rinse in warm water and allow to dry.
