What size are the flat back earrings?
Cords Club's Flat Backs are 18 gauge and come with a 6mm long Flat Back post.
A 6mm post is a great length for most people, so we d recommend starting there!
We do also have a range of other sizes available and sold separately. If you have questions about sizing, we'd love to help!
Are your flat backs sold individually? Or in pairs?
Our Flat Backs are sold individually, so make sure to add 2 to your cart if you'd like a pair!
Do I need to buy the flat back applicator, too?
Our Flat Back Applicator is a great tool but it's not necessary! The Flat Back Applicator is designed to help make the process of changing your flat backs faster and easier, but you can definitely change your earrings without one. The choice is totally up to you!

The Monstera Leaf flat back studs I received do not match the photos. As you can see from pictures I've attached the leaf sections do not have the distinctive gaps shown in the product images. I received a different earring than what is shown.
Naturally I went to the return/exchange portal, and was in the process of filing for an exchange, when the system told me I would be paying an additional $10, because I ordered TWO studs, I got a discount when ordering in a pair, however the same discount wouldn't apply when asking to exchange both items. So I was going to be charged $4 for the different studs (which would likely just be the same exact studs that don't match the picture, unless this is a fluke) and also almost $6 for shipping! Why am I being charged shipping on an exchange for an item that wasn't correct in the first place?
This was nonsense so instead of paying extra money because I received an item that didn't match the product photos, I'm just letting you all know instead with my review.

When you order based on specific design details like those distinctive leaf gaps, you should absolutely receive exactly what's shown in our images.
We're also very sorry about the confusing experience with our exchange system charging you additional fees. We understand why that felt like nonsense when you were already dealing with receiving the wrong product.
You shouldn't have to pay extra shipping or lose your pair discount. This type of issue should be covered as a quality concern, and we'd love to make this right for you.

I absolutely LOVE these monstera leaves! So much so I actually waited for them to be back in stock, as the first couple of times I checked they were out. Well worth the wait, and I always get complements when I wear them. I have very sensitive skin and can wear these for long periods of time with no issues. I typically leave them in full time and just take out all my earrings every couple of weeks to give things a good clean.

I found the experiences of this very unfulfilling. I brought three this being one. It’s very difficult to put in and caught on my clothes and hair. My other one lost a gem almost immediately. I will not be purchasing again.

That sounds incredibly frustrating—jewelry should be easy to wear and secure, not difficult to put in or constantly catching on your clothes and hair. And losing a gem almost immediately is definitely not acceptable.
It sounds like you may have received pieces with some quality control issues, especially with the gem falling out so quickly. The catching on clothing and hair could be related to the design edges or the way the post is sitting, but regardless, that's not the comfortable wearing experience we want for our customers.
