Measurements: Back post is 1/4" (6 mm) length, with a 3mm, slightly convex disc on back. 18 GA. The little ball on this earring is approx. 3 mm in diameter.
Colors: Silver color is ASTMF136 implant grade titanium, gold is the same titanium that is PVD Plated 18K Gold.

Soak your studs in a bowl filled with warm water and a few drops of dish soap for about 15 minutes.
Gently scrub your jewelry with a q tip or soft cloth to remove any buildup or debris.

The first thing you'll want to learn is how to keep your Flat Backs nice and secure. Just like you'd tie your running shoes to make sure they stay on your feet for a run, you'll need to adjust your Flat Backs to keep them in place, too!

What size are the flat back earrings?
Cords Club's Flat Backs are 18 gauge and come with a 6mm long Flat Back post.
A 6mm post is a great length for most people, so we d recommend starting there!
We do also have a range of other sizes available and sold separately. If you have questions about sizing, we'd love to help!
Are your flat backs sold individually? Or in pairs?
Our Flat Backs are sold individually, so make sure to add 2 to your cart if you'd like a pair!
Do I need to buy the flat back applicator, too?
Our Flat Back Applicator is a great tool but it's not necessary! The Flat Back Applicator is designed to help make the process of changing your flat backs faster and easier, but you can definitely change your earrings without one. The choice is totally up to you!

I didn't realize my ears were sensitive, I've been wearing cheap earrings for years and thought the backing was causing irritation, apparently it's the metal too. The flat back feels great and doesn't dig into my skull, but I've had these in for about 4 hours and my cartilage is red and a bit itchy. Seems like these are staying in place better than the first pair I tried and lost, so I'm a little on edge that they will fall out too. Going to try sleeping in them but wondering if the stainless steel is not great for me. Was pretty excited to try cords club, but maybe I shouldve tried the titanium flat back instead, and I wish they screwed in to provide a secure fit so I wouldnt need to worry about them falling out. 😔
