Measurements: Post measures 1/4 inch (6mm) in length, with a 3mm disc on back (note that this is smaller than many of the backs to our flat back studs). 20 GA (0.8 mm).
Bear shape is approx. 6.9x6.5mm. Check your own ear measurement before ordering.
Materials: This is a single push-pin, threadless flat back stud. Front piece is stainless steel, back post (the part that goes inside your ear) is ASTM F136 implant grade titanium.
Care: These are tarnish-proof and waterproof, with proper care. If you come into contact with chlorine or salt water, cream, lotion, perfumes, etc., rinse in water and gently dry with a lint-free cloth. When not wearing, store in a dry, cool place. Avoid leaving this stud in extreme heat, as it can affect the enamel.
CARE
Soak your studs in a bowl filled with warm water and a few drops of dish soap for about 15 minutes.
Gently scrub your jewelry with a q tip or soft cloth to remove any buildup or debris.
Store in a safe place when not in use.

What size are the flat back earrings?
Cords Club's Flat Backs are 18 gauge and come with a 6mm long Flat Back post.
A 6mm post is a great length for most people, so we d recommend starting there!
We do also have a range of other sizes available and sold separately. If you have questions about sizing, we'd love to help!
Are your flat backs sold individually? Or in pairs?
Our Flat Backs are sold individually, so make sure to add 2 to your cart if you'd like a pair!
Do I need to buy the flat back applicator, too?
Our Flat Back Applicator is a great tool but it's not necessary! The Flat Back Applicator is designed to help make the process of changing your flat backs faster and easier, but you can definitely change your earrings without one. The choice is totally up to you!

Overall, the bear is very cute and i’m sure like other cordsclub pieces these will last for a very long time. However I have an issue with the eyes not being the same size. I originally purchased a pair and the eyes were fine on one bear but on the other bear it had one eye smaller than the other and it looks off. I reached out and submitted a warranty claim and they sent me a new earring, which was a super easy process. Unfortunately, the replacement still has the same issue except it’s now the opposite eye. I don't feel like it’s worth the hassle of returning or submitting another claim, but now i have one perfect bear and two bears with wonky eyes. It’s a small detail but it does make a difference.
