What size are the flat back earrings?
Cords Club's Flat Backs are 18 gauge and come with a 6mm long Flat Back post.
A 6mm post is a great length for most people, so we d recommend starting there!
We do also have a range of other sizes available and sold separately. If you have questions about sizing, we'd love to help!
Are your flat backs sold individually? Or in pairs?

Do I need to buy the flat back applicator, too?
Our Flat Back Applicator is a great tool but it's not necessary! The Flat Back Applicator is designed to help make the process of changing your flat backs faster and easier, but you can definitely change your earrings without one. The choice is totally up to you!

The stud itself is tiny, simple, and cute. My only complaint is that the product description lists the black gem as measuring 2mm. I already own the black cauldron stud, which is also listed as measuring 2mm, so I purchased the micro black gem stud expecting the gems to be the same size. Unfortunately, when shown side by side there is a noticeable difference in their size- the micro gem seems to be a bit smaller. While I understand it’s hard to be exact when the gem is that small, I had expected that there would be at least some consistency across designs/product descriptions from the same shop.

So I have an obsession with the micro studs. Originally I only wore them in my tragus, but I have taken to wearing them in my cartilage as well. I opted for the onyx in the titanium to pair with titanium dahlias and the onyx ear climber specifically. It fits the tragus well as per usual and matches the vibes I’m looking for in my stack! I do like it in the cartilage as well if I’m not feeling the climber and I wear the micro love triangle in the tragus (shout out to the love triangle as well it’s a 3 stud but is definitely worth a look for the tragus)
I can’t even count how many reviews I’ve written for cords club at this point. Some sound redundant, but I just really stand by these products as a consumer. The quality always speaks for itself, from something as simple as a micro stud to ear climbers with chains and daith rings. It’s also why it’s especially a shame this brand took damage due to tik tok deciding they needed AI augmentation on an ad.
