Measurements:
- 20 GA (0.8 mm)
- Post measures 1/4 inch (6mm) in length, with a 4mm disc on back.
- Watermelon shape is approx. 5.1 x 5 mm. Check your own ear measurement before ordering.
Materials: This is a single push-pin, threadless flat back stud made from ASTM F136 implant grade titanium and enamel. Gold color is 18k gold PVD plated titanium.
Care: These are tarnish-proof and waterproof, with proper care. If you come into contact with chlorine or salt water, cream, lotion, perfumes, etc., rinse in water and gently dry with a lint-free cloth. When not wearing, store in a dry, cool place. Avoid leaving this stud in extreme heat, as it can affect the enamel.
CARE
Soak your studs in a bowl filled with warm water and a few drops of dish soap for about 15 minutes.
Gently scrub your jewelry with a q tip or soft cloth to remove any buildup or debris.
Store in a safe place when not in use.

What size are the flat back earrings?
Cords Club's Flat Backs are 18 gauge and come with a 6mm long Flat Back post.
A 6mm post is a great length for most people, so we d recommend starting there!
We do also have a range of other sizes available and sold separately. If you have questions about sizing, we'd love to help!
Are your flat backs sold individually? Or in pairs?
Our Flat Backs are sold individually, so make sure to add 2 to your cart if you'd like a pair!
Do I need to buy the flat back applicator, too?
Our Flat Back Applicator is a great tool but it's not necessary! The Flat Back Applicator is designed to help make the process of changing your flat backs faster and easier, but you can definitely change your earrings without one. The choice is totally up to you!

This is the second flat back stud that has gone missing from my ear. The earring was secured properly and I checked on it every day to make sure it was still secured. But one day it was just gone. The other earring I lost I still have but no way to use it since they don’t sell just the backs. Pretty disappointed with the security as I’m also having problems with some hoops I bought.
