- Post measures 1/4 inch (6mm) in length, with a 4mm disc on back.
- Tree shape is approx. 4.1x7mm. Check your own ear measurement before ordering.
Materials: This is a single push-pin, threadless flat back stud made from ASTM F136 implant grade titanium and enamel. Gold color is 18k gold PVD plated titanium.

Care: These are tarnish-proof and waterproof, with proper care. If you come into contact with chlorine or salt water, cream, lotion, perfumes, etc., rinse in cool water and gently dry with a lint-free cloth. When not wearing, store in a dry, cool place. Avoid exposing this stud to high heat, as it can affect the enamel.
CARE
Soak your studs in a bowl filled with warm water and a few drops of dish soap for about 15 minutes.
Gently scrub your jewelry with a q tip or soft cloth to remove any buildup or debris.
Store in a safe place when not in use.

What size are the flat back earrings?
Cords Club's Flat Backs are 18 gauge and come with a 6mm long Flat Back post.
A 6mm post is a great length for most people, so we d recommend starting there!
We do also have a range of other sizes available and sold separately. If you have questions about sizing, we'd love to help!
Are your flat backs sold individually? Or in pairs?
Our Flat Backs are sold individually, so make sure to add 2 to your cart if you'd like a pair!
Do I need to buy the flat back applicator, too?
Our Flat Back Applicator is a great tool but it's not necessary! The Flat Back Applicator is designed to help make the process of changing your flat backs faster and easier, but you can definitely change your earrings without one. The choice is totally up to you!

I bought one of these adorable studs to match with a leaf one, but unfortunately this specific one just won’t stay in. Adorable and comfy, but I’m constantly worried about it and it just recently fell out and it’s completely gone. I have the backing but the stud itself has been loose since I got it. A little disappointing to spend this amount of money for it not to stay in.

Having a loose post from the start is definitely not the quality experience we want you to have, and we completely understand your disappointment after investing in a piece that should stay put reliably.
It's really disappointing when you love the look and comfort of an earring but can't trust it to stay secure throughout the day. That constant worry about losing it takes all the joy out of wearing it, and then to have it actually fall out and go missing — that's incredibly frustrating.
