What size are the flat back earrings?
Cords Club's Flat Backs are 18 gauge and come with a 6mm long Flat Back post.
A 6mm post is a great length for most people, so we d recommend starting there!
We do also have a range of other sizes available and sold separately. If you have questions about sizing, we'd love to help!
Are your flat backs sold individually? Or in pairs?
Our Flat Backs are sold individually, so make sure to add 2 to your cart if you'd like a pair!
Do I need to buy the flat back applicator, too?
Our Flat Back Applicator is a great tool but it's not necessary! The Flat Back Applicator is designed to help make the process of changing your flat backs faster and easier, but you can definitely change your earrings without one. The choice is totally up to you!

I opted for the diadem in titanium vs the witches crown. Ultimately I liked the smaller size, and after discussing it with my best friend, decided it would be perfect for my cartilage. It fits nicely in my cartilage and doesn’t put strain on the piercing hole itself, but due to my anatomy the diadem is obscured slightly. The chains don’t dangle too far down from a cartilage, but I’d be curious how it works in a flat for some people as I feel it would be more versatile vs in the cartilage where you have those anatomical variations. I ended up purchasing a second one to wear in my lobe piercings as well if I want to switch it up from the heartthrob studs
