Materials: This is a single push-pin, threadless flat back stud made from 316L Stainless Steel and enamel. The back post is ASTM F136 implant grade titanium. Gold color is 18k gold PVD plated stainless steel and titanium.
Care: Water- and tarnish-resistant with proper care. Rinse after contact with salt water, chlorine, or lotions, and dry gently. Avoid prolonged heat (like hot showers), which can affect enamel. Store in a cool, dry place. Handle gently; avoid pulling or twisting.
CARE
Soak your studs in a bowl filled with warm water and a few drops of dish soap for about 15 minutes.
Gently scrub your jewelry with a q tip or soft cloth to remove any buildup or debris.
Store in a safe place when not in use.

What size are the flat back earrings?
Cords Club's Flat Backs are 18 gauge and come with a 6mm long Flat Back post.
A 6mm post is a great length for most people, so we d recommend starting there!
We do also have a range of other sizes available and sold separately. If you have questions about sizing, we'd love to help!
Are your flat backs sold individually? Or in pairs?
Our Flat Backs are sold individually, so make sure to add 2 to your cart if you'd like a pair!
Do I need to buy the flat back applicator, too?
Our Flat Back Applicator is a great tool but it's not necessary! The Flat Back Applicator is designed to help make the process of changing your flat backs faster and easier, but you can definitely change your earrings without one. The choice is totally up to you!

First I couldn’t get it in my ear. I eventually got it in, and got the front and back attached but couldn’t push them together. I almost re-pierced my ear trying to push them together. I wore them “loose” for 3 days and sent customer service an email. They sent me directions, so I took the earring out and tried it in front of me… it snapped in half. I wrote and she said “ Just a heads up, you have made this purchase last May 20th, so it is way past our return timeframe, unfortunately. 💔”
It’s June 23. I bought them May 20.
Ridiculous.
